Plastic Pollution Ads

The fact that plastic will undoubtedly make its way into the ocean has become the new normal. This poster series uses bold, thoughtful messages to compel the viewer to consider the impact of plastic. The first poster draws parallels that just as natural phenomenon may affect us globally, plastic that is produced and discarded in one part of the world could migrate effortlessly. The second poster urges consumers to reconsider using single use plastic, because those few minutes of use could result in a half millennia of existence. The hand-made typography is overlaid on a photo of a plastic landfill. The illustrations use a tinted transparent color that reflects the transparency of plastic.
